Assignment 2
For the technology unit, we were asked to do an assignment based on research technologies and to choose a topic. The assignment consisted of finding 5 or more types of references and write a short report (1-2 pages) of what we found. The 5 main types of references we needed was a book, journal article, conference paper, website and movie or podcast. In order to find the references needed, I searched through library databases and search engines. When it came to writing up the references to show where I got the information, I used EndNote.
For my topic, I decided to choose mathematics and how it can be used in the classroom environment, using technology. I also looked for resources that teachers can use to help them teach like the interactive whiteboard program, which is explained in the assignment.
